As the title says, if you pay for tethering from At&t when you go into settings>general>usage does it break up the normal iphone data from tethering data or is it all lumped into Cellular Network Data? Also, what does it say when you dial *3282#

Thanks

It's all included, so if you get the 4gb tethering plan, you can either use all 4gbs on 1 device, or 2gbs and 2gbs.. etc,etc..

I don't know about the *star code, but if you use the native tethering, it will show up in a separate field as tethering usage.

Of course, I don't think AT&T can actually track it separately, but I think it's more there for your own accounting purposes (at least I hope, otherwise I'm going to get a surprise on my bill).

Carriers can track it separately if they choose to, but it requires that they specify a separate APN in the iPhone Carrier Settings file.
