Question for People that use ATT Navigator and/or Navigon

There are reports of inaccuracy with the GPS on the iPhone 3Gs. How accurate do you find the GPS with TBT software. Is there a lag? I am coming from a HTC TouchPro and it had a 3-5 sec lag (meaning it would show my position as 200-300 yards behind from where I actually am). That drove me nuts.

By 'reports' do you mean one person who didn't even know that GPS uses satellite?

It's been pretty spot-on when driving around SE London with the phone placed down by the centre console so not ideal. Some cars apparently have metal film coated windscreens which will block the fairly weak GPS signals but mine's been fine. It's a 3G iPhone from last year.

don't worry about the 3g s' gps, it works fine.

It was very accurate yesterday when I test it out.
Locked in within seconds and displayed properly on google maps my moving location.
