hey fellow producers, musicians, writers and whatnot, my question is regarding mac competitiveness with hardware of newer generations in the audio software field. i produce music and always like to have new virtual synths and plugins (not all of them i will use, but i just want to try them out and if some of them are good i will continue using them). we all know how much is new audio software hard on hardware, just look at NI massive, it absolutely overloads my 2 years old amd PC, which handles any other NI software with much less difficulties. i say difficulties, because that's exactly what it is - an everlasting, ongoing struggle.

will i be able to use new software with my macbook pro in let's say 4 years or so?

what are you experiences?
