Question For PS3 /Mac Owners

I have hundreds of HD images and movies on my PS3. I want to copy them in order to transfer them to my MAC. Is there ANY other way to copy movies and images other than using a memory stick for storage media? I put a CD-R DVD in the PS3 but it does not recognize it as a media storage device.
ANY IDEAS?

i dont know of any other way to do it but by the memory stick way.dont think you can stream them lol.
