Hello,
Quick question. If I run my retina MacBook Pro at full 2880x1800 resolution, will the performance be the same as running a 1440x900 "retina resolution"? I'm not talking about running a game at 2880x1800 and comparing to running at 1440x900. More like say running AutoCAD which supports a 1440x900 retina resolution and comparing it to running it at a full 2880x1800 using a 3rd party app.
I think it should be the same as they are both using the same amount of pixels. I know using the "scaled" 1920x1200 IS a performance hit but I'm not sure about running it at full 2880x1800
