I just got my 15' 2.2GHz MBP, and I noticed something on the dock. U know that light that stays under a app when that application is open??? Well, u know when u close the application, and that light fades away, with that smooth animation??? Well, with certain applications, like Photobooth, iMovie, Garage Band, that light doesn't have that animation when the app is closed. It just does away. But with other apps like Safari it works just fine, U know what I mean. I know its a small issue, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed that issue.

 ...i dont even notice things like that...

maybe restart your mac?

I would love to have a 15' mbp... though it might be a pain in the butt to carry around. I would consider it a wall replacement unit. How much do you think it would weigh?

;););)

Good Lord man! How'd you ever notice that??????

You are right though, but I have only one that doesn't fade, Aperture.
Set the dock to auto hide and you shouldn't see it happen.

I never noticed those lights until right, just, now!

From what I can tell, different applications close at different speeds. Eg, itunes fades much slower than preview.

All u guys have to is go to "system preferences", and then go to "energy saver", and then just uncheck the box that says "automatic graphics switching", and everything will work as smooth as butter.
