I am looking to purchase two iPhone 7's on apple.com when pre-orders start, one for my wife and one for myself. According to Apple's website:

With the iPhone Upgrade Program, you are limited to one iPhone purchase per online transaction, and you can’t add accessories to your online order. You can purchase additional devices and accessories in separate transactions or at an Apple Store.

This is all fine and dandy. But what if I want to use the Apple Upgrade Program for both phones? I know for the first transaction, I would need to sign up for the plan, but once approved for that one phone, how would that work? I only see two options. One that says, "I'd like to enroll" and another that says "I'm already part of the program". The latter option is only if you are already in the program and looking to upgrade your phone.

Not sure if anyone can answer this. But I wanted to throw it out there and see.

AC was cheaper than paying for Verizon's insurance and it covered more. I don't know how much more it cost now than 3 years ago but I did end up buying and needing it on my iPhone 6.

Considering a replacement phone would be $500 or so when I used AC I figure it was worth the money.

My wife is the "owner" of both mine and her IUP program technically because my credit sucks from years and years of atrocious medical billing because i am disabled. Everything is attached to the phone number and specific phone. So when I originally applied, i just put in my wife's info in both.

You basically have to do both separate as if you are doing a brand new application, there is no way to select two phones under one application. Its a totally separate loan, basically, so make sure you understand if you or your wife blows town, whoever is left will be responsible for both loans.

You can put two IUP phones under one person, yes. Now that Im getting the X and she's getting the 8 its even easier, as i can pre approve hers now ,and mine later. You just have to go through the apple store app on the actual phone.

I hope this info helps.
