"For the past month or so, I've been firing up Terminal. When it starts, I'd normally get something along the lines of:
Last login: <day> <month> <number of day> <time> on console
Welcome to Darwin!
Windehs-Mac:~ windeh$
However, I now get:
Last login: Wed Aug 29 20:08:02 on console
Welcome to Darwin!
Unknown-00-30-65-b7-46-9c:~ windeh$
My computer's name is being replaced by my ethernet ID and is messing up URLs on my computer (well, local ones on the Apache installation I have running), and it's annoying the hell out of me.
It's not that much of a problem, but it's annoying especially since I have Apache turned on on this computer. If I try entering subdirectories, the address will change from 127.0.0.1/~windeh/folder to Unknown-00-65-b7-46-9c/~windeh/folder. I tried turning it off and seeing if the problem stopped, but it didn't. Yesterday, it returned to normal, but today it's turned back to that. Any help on getting it back to normal?"
