[Question] How much should i sell my Macbook Pro for

Hello i've been thinking of selling my macbook pro to buy the new retina display macbook pro 2013 but i don't know for how much should i sell it

Model - Late 2011
Size - 15 Inch
Processor - 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory - 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
Software - OS X 10.9
Hard Drive - 750GB

Additional Things Added

Now when i bought this i bought it new i replaced the 4 or 8 GB that originally came with it and replaced them with 16 GB anyways in total the Macbook cost me around $3000, my question is how much should i sell my laptop for?

i was thinking of maybe $2500 but i don't know please give me a reasonable price i only have 2 years with this computer

Don't you have a 6770M too?

$2500 is way too high, you can buy a faster, brand new one for that price. I'd say maybe $1800, but wait for a couple more posts yet.

Im new to Mac but 2500 bucks seems awefully high when you can buy a brand new one with better specs for that.

I would say around 1600 - 1800 maybe?

If you're going to sell your computer directly like on Craigslist or eBay, Mac2Sell pricing is really low.

BuyBackWorld is a legitimate company if you do not feel like using a peer to peer platform like craigslist or ebay. They send you a free padded box to ship the macbook also. I sold my 2010 i7 macbook pro to them and got the cash (paypal payment) 2 days after they received it.

You aren't going to fetch anywhere close to $2,500. The latest processor always seems to be 2x faster making a laptop a year old obsolete. My rMBP depreciated over $800 in one year. Being a cMBP it is considered a model that doesn't exist anymore, greatly depreciates in value.
