I’ve created some files in the files app using iCloud Drive. I had a dozen or so documents in one particular folder, all named by the document’s date (for example 071417). All but the most current 4 documents have dissapeared (I did not delete nor move them).
I started to replace the missing documents and rename them to what they were named before. I get an error message telling me that name with the .pdf extension already exists. When performing a search for the, what seems like an invisible document, nothing comes up. I cannot find the missing documents and I cannot rename a document with the name previously used. I doesn’t allow me to replace the document with that name either.
An iPhone and iPad Pro share the iCloud Dive account and these documents are missing from both devises.
I would like to find the missing documents or to replace them and use the same file name previously used. Any ideas?
Edit: Issue resolved itself about a month later.
