iPhone question: ios7 in fall

i am on b5 right now on the 4s. i am wondering how i upgrade to the official ios7 release come september. do i downgrade back to ios6.3 first or, can i directly upgrade to the official release OTA.

Before the public release the GM will come out first for developers to download and install onto their devices (The GM (Gold Master) is basically the public version). You should be able to just restore or upgrade to the Gold Master, but it's recommended to do a clean restore once the GM comes out.
