[QUESTION] iPad air cellular MIMO,

Hello. I would like to ask about iPad air connectivity improvements. I have read that iPad air has MIMO 2x2 and it improves download/upload speeds. However I would like to ask if it is also improves cellular data performance? For example I have iPhone 5S (Without MIMO) and iPad air. So at the same LTE testing area will iPad air out score 5S? or it only applies for WiFi? Thanks

It's a wifi only thing. Cellular isn't affected by it from what I know.
