This is my first post on MacRumors, hello everyone and thank you for reading my post. I'm JuulJuup (nickname, prefer to stay anonymous), 24 y/o and from the Netherlands.
I have a MacBook Pro, model MacBookPro8,2. I'll list some specs first and then what I'm looking for.
Specs
2,2 GHz i7 quad-core
8GB 1333 MHz of ram
OCZ Vertex SSD 240 GB (the 6Gbit one) (got like 40GB left of space)
Intel HD 3000 + AMD Radeon HD 6750M
Question
I'm a webdesigner and I use Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign alot. I am always short on space and I only have little space left for my scratch disk in Photoshop. I also want to play videogames via BootCamp like Guild Wars 2, Saints Row the Third.
I use an external 37" HD 3D tv from Samsung as my external monitor and I need that too.
Thus my question is: what would you suggest for me play games like Guild Wars 2, Saints Row: The Third? I heard there are these boxes where you can put a videocard in and an extra HDD and hook it up via Thunderbolt. What would you suggest? Do I even need an extra videocard that is more solid than my mobile version to play games like this fluently? And can I add one of these boxes + my external display, whilst I only have 1 thunderbolt port?
