Question| MKV File on iTunes/FrontRow/QuickTime..

Hi, Im not sure if this is the place for he post but ill ask
if i want to play mkv files in iTunes/FrontRow/QuickTime what do i need to do?
and if i cant whats my alternative?, convert or a player that does read mkv?
can you please recomand me on this kind of player?
