Question of Time Machine

I have used Time Machine to saved my files. Can I use it to download to another PC Windows computer?

Time Machine requires a HFS+ formatted external drive. In its default setup, Windows cannot read these drives. You can download HFSExplorer (or a similar tool) to enable a PC to read off a Time Machine drive. Your files will be on there and you should be able to just drag them onto the PC.

MacDrive makes software for Windows as well to read Mac drives.

MacDrive makes software for Windows as well to read Mac drives.

Is it a software thing that we got to purchase or a free download thing.
