Question on 6+ Landscape Mode

One of the things that sold me on the 6+ is the landscape mode as I use my phone a lot with the djay app (turntable/mixing app) and GPS.

Anyone know if the landscape mode will also work with the music app?

One of my peeves is the search by album cover mode when you put the phone in landscape (I have the 5s now).

I'd like to be able to scroll through songs/artists like I do in portrait mode.

Until/Unless apps are rewritten to support this "2-Up" mode (As Apple calls landscape mode for the 6+), they will function the same horizontally and vertically, scaling up for the larger 6+ resolution

Ok, my question refers to the native iphone music app though.

I don't believe we know the answer to that yet but it would seem logical that the native app would do so.

Ask the developer forum maybe? I'm not sure if they have the SDK for ios 8 but if they do they might be able to simulate the 5.5 screen in landscape and run the apple music app.

I for one am very curious myself too. The landscape mode on the music app always frustrated me on the iphone. I don't want to scroll through album art i want a list of albums/playlist/artists like in portrait.

I was wondering this, too. Unfortunately, I doubt it. It probably has the same scrolling mosaic of album covers as in iOS 7. Apple probably would've shown us otherwise.

Nope, there is no Music app on current iOS 8 simulators.

Never thought of that, it would be helpful. Or better yet, split screen showing your call status on one side and the keypad on the other.

It's the same as the iPhone 5/5s landscape.
