Question on calendar sync.

Hey guys. I'm having a problem at my company with Exchange 07 and iOS devices. Without going too deep into the problem, is there a way to make the calendar on the iphone/ipad sync with Exchange just 1 way? As in Exchange is the "owner" and the i device is just a reader? We'd be willing to download a different calendar app as well.
