I canceled my iMac order due to changing my mind on the BTO configuration. I got my cancelation confirmation email from Apple saying I won't be charged and everything is good. I checked my credit card account and my balance doesn't reflect the amount which means I haven't been charged, but the transaction is still listed on there and says "pending." The iMac never shipped. I canceled while the order still was "processing" one day after placing the order. Does anyone know what happens to the "pending" charge on my credit card account? Will it just disappear? Do you think it's safe to reorder my imac? I know this sort of thing has had to happen to many of you guys. How long does the pending transaction typically take to be deleted? Thanks

Yes, it's just like swiping your credit card at a gas station. Even if you cancel the transaction, it'll list as a pending transaction (testing the card). It'll take a day or two but no charge should go thru.
