Question on ClamXav

Hi, im currently using snow leopard and clamxav 2.0.4. I was wondering, why each time i scan with clamxav, my hard disk space keep on decreasing, the thing was it decrease quite a lot. From 111.21 gb to 111.12 gb. Why?
