I just bought a 13" macbook, and want to use some of my dvd decrypter softwares from my ext. hardrive that i used with my pc (DVD shrink, ect..) they won't run on osX so i'm thinking of putting windows xp or vista on mac. will my usb ports work and will i be able to burn dvd's from windows with these programs just like i was from my PC laptop? I bought the more powerful mac of the 2 white one with 2.16 ghz and 120 hd w/superdrive. Also which one would be better XP or Vista on my mac?

BootCamp, Parallels, or VMware will recognize your USB ports and you'll be able to burn discs as normal. I've run XP and Vista on my MacBooks, but have no preference (they both run very well).
