Okay, so im finally getting around to doing a website/portfolio for some of my film work, I'm really inexperienced with web development, but I'm try to get through it.
Here's my question:
I need my films/videos to look very high quality and polished when displayed through the web browser. What I want do is to make it so that the observer can select a small version of the video (so that it loads quicker) or they can select the Large or Original sized version.
What would be the best settings (through Final Cut or Quicktime) to output the videos so that their isn't alot of noticeable compression and so that they aren't astronomical in size.
For instance:
Apple put up a 25 min video for the iphone the large high-quality version was 175mb, and it looks absolutely fantastic, my films are no longer that 12min so theoretically I should be able to export a 90mb file (for the largest video and it should look fantastic)
anyway like I said, I'm undeniably a n00b in web development, and any and all help is appreciated.
