question on installing mac os on a new HD

i'm planning to upgrade the HD to 500g after i receive my new 13''

but this's the first time i use mac os

how do i install the os on the new HD?

is there a cd copy of the os that comes with the macbook pro, so that i can use

it to

install the os?

The disc works only on the (hardware specific) model it shipped with. So, no, you can't use it to upgrade a different computer to Leopard.
