Question on iPhone Photos

When is add metadata to a photo on my MacBook Air Photos app, is there a way to view that on my iPhone Photos? Trying but no luck. Only thing I have managed to do so far is find an image by title using the search function. If it is important, I am using an iPhone 8 and have not yet installed iOS 14.
 
Maybe I can answer my own question! For iOS 13 one can get an app/apps that will do some of it. However, my going to iOS 14, the "new" Photos will have a method of entering the information via the iPhone. Cross-over from the Mac program doesn't appear to be an option. We shall see.
