I just purchased a MacBook about a few hours ago, and I was just wondering how to enable the repeating keys feature. When I hold a key down, the accents show. I did some research on this, and found many solutions from 2011-2012 (the terminal fix) and was just wondering if there is a new solution in settings? Thanks! :)

First launch terminal (/Applications/Utilities), enter this command:

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false

then press enter. Done.

EDIT: duuuuuuuuuuuuh, didn't totally read the OP :p
