Question on music app and genre..

Music > Genre > Artist .... NOW WHAT?!

My questions, once I get to the artist page, is there ANY WAY to have it so it shows ALL my songs in that damn genre, not force me to pick an artist.? I have to click an artist and then if I click shuffle it just takes me to an artist and only shows that artist songs.

What the hell!

The closest thing you can do is hit 'shuffle' right after you get into the 'genre' page (before you pick an artist).

That will at least start a random shuffle of all the songs in that genre. That's something, at least.

If you're looking for a list of a genre, though, I don't see a way. My suggestion is to make a smart playlist in iTunes on your computer and then sync it to the phone. Making it a smart playlist will ensure future songs get added to it without you having to do anything.

Why don't you just create a smartplaylist with the filter "Genre=<whatever>"?

As you add/remove songs it will automatically be added/removed from that playlist.
