Question on OEM Leather Case from current owners

I’m leaning towards getting the OEM leather case, but I’ve got one concern. I do a lot of cycling...road, mountain and snow...and typically have my phone in my jersey pocket. This means it’s exposed to sweat and dirt. Can anyone comment as to the durability of the case in such an environment? Is it going to end up looking dingy really fast?

Depends on the color. I work outside and the environment I’m in can get fairly nasty. I have had a variety of colors on my iPhone leather cases and the best to handle these conditions are the black and midnight blue. The dirt and grime wipes right off and doesn’t make a lasting negative mark on them. Stay away from the taupe.

i would say it can also feel dingy really fast in those conditions. I love my leather case but would probably protect it from the elements (snow, rain) with a better case and maybe swap out while not doing any activities. just my opinion but if you were to have to have one in those conditions, i would vote for a dark color to hide.

Yeah, light colors definitely seem like a bad idea. My phone is Space Grey so I think the black would be good, but what I’m eyeing is the Saddle Brown. I’m just nervous it will get nasty looking.
