iPhone 12 Pro Question on Preordering

Perhaps the issue I am having is that they are not yet letting customers set up their preliminary orders for the iPhone 12 MAX yet.

I can select the phone, the color, the storage, and the activation.

I can then select the HEART at the top corner to mark it as a favorite, but I don't see where I can quickly retrieve it when I go to back into the app.

Also...

If I select the Apple Upgrade Program as the method of payment and then select I WOULD LIKE TO ENROLL, it doesn't take me anywhere.

Does that mean I actually enroll at the time of purchase? I don't like that idea as I think it slows down the purchase process.

Perhaps I should enroll in advance?

Just looking for tips to make certain I secure my selection and payment before sale on November 6th and can quickly place an order with a couple of clicks.

On the apple store app, you can locate your favorites under "For You"

Just like they did with the 12 and 12 Pro, they will do the pre-approval process. I would say more likely on Wednesday before the pre-order for the mini and the Pro Max is when the pre-approval process will begin.

Technically i didn't set anything up for the 12 Pro and still managed to get it on launch day. However. I did put a favorite on the 12 Pro max Pacific Blue in 512 GB.

Correct, the enroll isn't work for the 12 Mini and 12 Pro max because it's not open to pre-order yet. I believe it will be Tuesday or Wednesday before the pre-order day is when we can start preapproval process.
