I'm not eligible to upgrade until December so do you think I could get $400+ for my white 16GB? I would also include a pair a V-MODA earphones. eBay is probably flooded with them so I'm thinking I won't get very much. I don't want to list it until close to the end of the month because I'll be getting $600 for a side job I did. The money was going for a TV for my "office" but if I could the the 3Gs and sell my 3G for $400 I could still get the TV.
It depends on the condition, but maybe about $300-$350 right now. Put it up with a Buy It Now price and free shipping too, since almost everyone is offering that now.

If it does not have OS 3.0 or OS 2.2.1 with Baseband 2.30. Make sure to state that it can be Jailbroke and Unlocked with Yellowsn0w. If it is able to be used by T-Mobile customers it improves your customer pool.mine is in MINT condition and i have it up starting at 320/buy it now for 410, with 2 extra accessories and the original box (not like that may matter though) and free shipping

If it an 8 GB iPhone 3G then you need to know that many AT&T customers can get one for $99 and pay the $175 ETF + $18 upgrade for a brand new one. You might consider Craigs List for a local transction that would be quicker and have no fees for you as the seller.

On ebay, a lot of factors come into play.
1. Your feedback score as a seller, is 100 percent.
2. The wordings in your ad, "like new" "excellent condition" "fast shipping" etc
3. Photo, did you use stock or the actual pic.
when you sell it on ebay - do you include the SIM card?
