hey guys. I noticed the bootneuter in the installer a few weeks ago and was wondering today what does it do? I have a unlocked iPhone on 1.1.4 4.6. But I got it unlocked at a local mobile phone shop. I'm not really sure and willing to risk trying to unlock it myself before but the worse thing is they charge £20 for every new update. If I install this app will this mean I could update my firmware in iTunes and unlock it with the bootneuter that i would have already installed when 2.0 comes out? Or does my iphone need to be pwned first? I have no clue but I would be really grateful for some advise.

Many thanks
john

You paid to have your iPhone unlocked?

.....

Sadly yes... However this was before ziphone and the other more secure methods became avaliable. There was also the huge worry ( and still is) of having a £269 iPhone paper weight.
