Question on themes and installing ?

Hi,


After downloading a few basics I'm now looking at minor tweaks like themes.

I've seen a nice blackout HD SD style theme.

However when i tried out winter board it made my iPhone 4 lag.

When i uninstalled it the phone was then fine.

Question is, without Winterboard am i not able to get these themes
