All iPads Question on transferring my iPad unlimited data plan...

Im planning on transferring my ATT unlimited data plan from my previous iPad to my iPad mini. I just auto paid for a new month a week ago and wondered if it just resumes from there since its the same account, or if my month restarts upon transfer so I lose the last three weeks? Couldnt seem to find the answer via search and I'd ask AT&T but sadly, I've had different answers to questions before so I thought I'd see if someone here has actually done it. I know the iPhone restarted, but that's a bundle with voice, so I expected that.

I'm planning on keeping and using both so if I lose the time, I'm just going to wait another 3weeks and use wifi on my mini in the meantime and use my other iPad on the go.

It just keeps going. Transferring equipment doesn't reset the plan.
