hi everyone I have a iPhone 6s Plus and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to upgrade to the newest iPhone this year. I mean I like my 6s but I can only get through half the day on the battery before it dies. Please write back. I would like your guys opinion on this. Thanks.

Not enough details here. If you’re not referring to the iPhone 8 or iPhone X, I would make your decision once you see the September keynote and what’s offered from Apple with the newest iPhones in just over two months.

You could still seek a battery replacement for $29 as an alternative to keep your iPhone 6s due to the battery throttling, which will help your iPhone perform longer until you decide to upgrade at a certain point.

Get a new battery today, it’ll give you a few months to decide if your 6S is going to get you through another year or not.

If you decide to sell you’ll be able to market your 6S as having a new battery from Apple vs dying after 1/2 a day.

Can’t agree enough.

Go for the new battery. Just make sure that you fully back up your phone before you bring it in.

I now someone who brought their iphone 7 into Apple last week to get the battery replaced for $29, and Apple broke the phone during the battery replacement. They game him a new iPhone 7.

I'd wait till September to get a new iphone when they are released. But for now, get a new battery for $29 before that deal ends.
