hello everyone, ok, so i have a question, what would i use to compare r processors accuratly, its the dual 2.5 g5 vs dual 3.0 amd 64. obviously the amd will win, but i want to see just by how much. is there sometype of pure equation, or sometyhing we can both run to tell?

There are really too many variables to properly test this out. For example, if you use converting some songs in iTunes as a benchmark, the Mac will always come out on top simply because iTunes has been optimised for OSX.

I guess you could just compare speeds of different apps you use on both machines, whatever they may be. It's a very tricky task though and the end result is kind of irrelevant.
