My Mac running OSX 10.6 has app that pops up when I hit the F4 key or press the middle of the mouse. I don't know the name of this app and can not find any preference settings for it.

The annoying problem is that I bump the mouse in some un-planned way and the app pops up when I don't want it to.

1. What is the name of this app?
2. How can I disable its popping up when I bump the mouse? I would like it to only pop up via the F4 function key.

Thanks for your help. I could not get your suggestion to work but along the way I discovered the Amnesty widget manager. I have it set so that a widget only pops up when I ask Amnesty for it. This is a big improvement.

You don't need "Amnesty Widget Browser" (if that is what you actually mean).
