I would like to buy the box set as i need Ilife 09 and Iworks 09. I already have leopard installed.

I understand that the box set comes with 3 separate DVDs.

Stupid question i guess but i dont want to install my OS again. I assume its ok just to use the ilife dvd and the iworks dvd and not use the leopard dvd.In other words all 3 dont have to be loaded at the same time?

Although I don't have the box it would be my understanding that this would be the case. I can't imagine there are those restrictions, apple don't even register leopard!

Duff-Man says...No, as I understand it you only install what you wish to - each disk is a separate entity. If you are going to buy the box and already have Leopard then why not hang on a bit and but the 10.6 (Snow Leopard) version of the box....oh yeah!

Thats great guys thanks.

I might well wait for snow Leopard but i am itching to get my hands on the new Ilife/Iworks.

The deal i saw at Amazon basically means you get leopard for free if you buy the box set as against buying the ilife and iworks separately.
