I am one of the unfortunate folks that have an iPhone 5 with the flaky sleep/power button. I am planning on getting the button fixed after I get an iPhone 6, but I'm thinking that I may be waiting a while before the supplies of the 6 catch up.

My issue is that I bought my iPhone 5 at AT&T on launch weekend (around 9/22/12), but it didn't ship until October 25th or so. Apple's recall program states it is available for two years from the date of first purchase. I don't have any documentation showing the October 25th date, only the receipt from AT&T showing 9/22.

I thought there was a page on Apple's support site that showed the warranty expiration date (my recollection was that my warranty expired 10/25/13), but I can no longer find it.

Anyone have a suggestion as to how to find out the date that Apple considers "first purchase"?
