Hey guys,

So there's an app that's not available in my country but that is available in the US. So I created a US Apple Account, signed out of my account under "Media & Purchases" in the Settings app, signed into the US account, downloaded the app, signed out of the US account, and signed back into my account.

So far, so good, I can now use the app. However, I'd like to buy an in-app purchase in this app and the purchase buttons just show a spinning loading indicator (in the app itself, so I don't even get a native iOS purchase popup to show up). I have 2 questions regarding this:
  1. I guess I have to switch back to the US account in order to buy the in-app purchase, right? By the way, the reason why I don't just try it out and instead ask here is that I'd like to keep account switching to a minimum because it was a bit buggy in the past.
  2. Will I be able to use the in-app purchase without issues after I then switch back to my original Apple Account?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

1. Since this app is not available in your home country's App Store, it cannot access in-app purchases details, so you have to switch to a US account to buy it, then switch back.

2. It depends. Some apps keep the receipt locally, so your purchases stay available even after switching back. However, there're some app check the purchase records at launch or periodically, so prevuously bought or subscribed features may disappear, requiring you to log in with US account and "Restore Purchases".
