Question regarding Cydia

I just used pwnage 2.01 and successfully hacked my iTouch. I noticed that Cydia has installed packages that maybe useless. Are all of them needed or can I uninstall some of them?

i hear they are like the bsd subsystems package from installer. some are required for cydia, some are required for other applications available in cydia
