Hello Apple Experts,

I've got a question that no one has been able to answer for me, so I am hoping someone here can provide some insight. I unlocked my Iphone 4S At&t via an IMEI unlock, making it a "Factory Unlocked" Iphone, and is working just fine right now on T-mobile for about 2 months.

My question is, should something happen to my Iphone in the future and I wish to get it replaced at the Genius Bar, will I be given an At&t Iphone or a Factory Unlocked iPhone?

IMEI Unlocking is not a software nor hardware modification, your IMEI number is simply placed into the Factory Unlocked Iphone list.

Thanks in Advance!

You will be given an AT&T locked phone, it will come out of an black box, maybe a refurb.

You purchased a AT&T phone with Apple, that is what they will give in return.
