Hi,

since my Macbook Pro has a small dent on the left of its case, I consider about either changing the case to new Macbook Pro case from Apple.

Did anyone here change your case to a new one before? How much did it cost?

And to cover the dent, I also think about buying a third party cover case. After searching google, I see this site: http://www.macbook-case.com/pl.asp?ci=148797&cn=MacBook-Pro-Cases--2D-17-22 in which they offer various kind of cases for MPB. I, however, worry about the problem of temperature. MPB always has problem with heating and I am so worry that things even get worse with a case. If I use this case to cover my MPB, will it make my MPB much more hotter? Has anyone here tried this before?

How good will this case work?

Also, I am using a Core Duo 2.16 Ghz Macbook Pro (1st Gen), can I change my screen (native resolution: 1680x1050) to a hi-res screen (1900x1200)? Will my machine will support the new screen and how much does it cost to change?

I know all of these questions are quite hard to answer but I still hope I can find some good advices here.

Thank you very much.
