Question regarding new Airport Base and HDs, etc.

Ok here's the deal.

I have 2 MBP C2D, 1 G5 iMac, 1 printer, and the old Airport basestation.

Would it make sense for me to get a new Airport basestation, and like a My Book (500gb or a tb)?

I am doing a lot of video, and i also have a lot of videos that are shorter that i want to store somewhere. I also want to be set up for backing up all 3 computers when time machine comes out (i know any advice about that is speculative).

also does anyone have any advice on My Books (or a better external HD)?

It makes sense.

The Airport is a great router, and is very price competitive when compared to everything else. If you need a new router, why not?

thanks. i have the mushroom one already, and ill probably get the new one eventually. im just wondering about .n speed with moving files if it makes sense to do that as opposed to just plugging it in firewire on my mbp. and will a router (like if i hook up a printer and an external hard drive) slow it down at all?
