Hello,

I bought a 9.7" iPad Pro and (stupidly) paid with cash. I then decided that I wanted the larger version, so, when I returned it, the manager at the Apple Store said that Apple would have to mail me a check.

I know that Apple policy says that "Apple will mail you a refund check within 10 days".

I wondered how many of you had experience with receiving refunds from Apple this way?

Do the refund checks come within 10 days? Do they take longer?

Thanks for reading!

I'm sure they have to mail from corporate. I don't see many cash registers at the Apple Store.

Btw, did the store not have any of the big ones in stock?
Why wait for cash if they have the big one?

Knowing Apple it will be mailed with in the 10 days. At worst it might take another two days for the mail. I am betting Apple mails it a few days early.

Lesson learned.

It seems to me the better option would have been to get a gift card in the refunded amount. Was/is this an option?
