I do realize that there is no special coating on the stainless steel band of the iPhone 12 Pro, with that being said micro scratches and deeper scratches will show up and I was wondering if any of you have had any luck polishing the stainless successfully to get rid of most of the scratches. I do have a Cape Cod polishing cloth that moist that I’ve used on the phone but didn’t really have a lot of luck with it. It seem to of worked well when I had the iPhone X silver, but this stainless steel seems tougher and harder to polish. If any of you have tried please share your experiences. Thank you.

I will suggest a sterling silver polishing cloth. I have had luck with. It on my wife’s watch and phone. Has to be a good cloth though.

The polishing compound will get in the crack/seam between the band and the case. Not recommended.

I started using Autosol in car detailing. I’ve since polished every stainless apple device in my Arsenal with it. I like to use it with a cotton pad to avoid marring left behind. I smush it into the pad really well to avoid it getting in the gaps between the screen and bezel.
