Asked this queation in the iphone forum but didn't get a response so thought I would ask in here

When you read an e-mail that comes up on your iphone will it be down as being read when you go on your ipad? or will it come up seperately as being unread?

So if it comes up on the notifications center on your iphone will it then not be on your notifications center on your ipad?

anybody know?

Hmm. If you read it/delete it on one of your iOS device, the mail will appear as read on other devices when you launch the mail app. It will be in the notification app if you didn't launch your mail icon. It will only be there for a few seconds though as it has been read.

this all depends on what type of email configuration you are using.

IMAP accounts such as Gmail will update so that if you read an email on your iPhone it will be marked as read on your iPad.

POP accounts such as Roadrunner will not update, so you will have unread mail on your iPad even if you read it on your iPhone.
