I was wondering if it was possible to sell my Iphone 4 (which is still under contract) by removing the SIM card. I am cancelling my contract and buying it out later in 2012, however the phone itself is useless to me as the account is suspended currently.

I wouldn't want to sell it to someone else and have them be unable to activate / use it. My cell provider is Rogers here in Canada.

Thanks all!

Just restore the phone to factory settings, remove the SIM and sell it off. Unless you have something like Verizon where I think they can hose the phone based on the IMEI if you haven't paid your bill.
