Once I restore it my AppleID won't be attached to it anymore? Just wanna make sure that there aren't any complications with the next owners. I assume activation lock will be engaged once the iPad has been reactivated with the new AppleID?

you need to make sure you click on the erase all contents and settings on the ipad itself. when u click this, it will ask you to deregister your ipad from your apple ID

It never asked me to deregister my AppleID, just for the password?

If you turn off find my iPad either in the iCloud settings or when doing an 'erase' it turns it off.

If you want to be sure, log into iCloud.com. Under Find my iPhone, if you see the iPad you can 'remove from account'. That will cover all the bases

I did that and it informed me that it'll appear again wan't it's connected online. At the same time if I try to activate it asks for any AppleID, not mine specifically.
