iPod touch Question? (using iTunes gift card)

if you redeem an itunes gift card into itunes with your pc or mac does it create an account for you but you have to type in the password and username right or wrong. And if it does create one can you download things online with an ipod touch? please respond back i need help haaaahaaaa

if you already have an iTunes Store account, log in first and then click on the Redeem Gift card link on the front page of the store. you can then enter in the card number and your account will show the balance. if you don't have an account yet, you will need to first create one.
when you buy something from the iTunes store app on your iPod, it asks you to login. your purchase will be deducted from the balance associated with your account.
