I currently have the first 8gig iphone and my wife is asking if she can have it. She is giving me the option to go and get the iphone 3g. The question I have is, I recently upgrade my phone to the blackberry curve but missed the iphone. So I switched back but used my upgrade time for the Blackberry. When I go to the iphone section on the apple page and put my info, it says I am eligable to get the 3G 8gig for 199.99?

Will I be flagged since I have already upgraded my phone? or since I already bought the iphone first gen, will they give me a cheaper upgrade?

So I get the iphone 3G 8gig for 199.99 cause I already own an iphone?

um no

199 is for a new contract. otherwise its like 399 if you are not upgrade eligible

I hate to be ignorant but I went through the Qualification part on apples website and it said 8GIG 199.99 and 16GIG 299.99. Are those certain or will I have a surprise if I go to the apple store and my account is checked with a recent upgrade (blackberry curve).

Whatever you see on the site is what you get. Since you didn't keep the Blackberry, you have your upgrade for the iPhone. Finish out the process on the site and go in and buy it. Or grab one from an Apple store.
