Since I have my iphone 4 and will soon have the iphone 4s and will be giving my girlfriend the 4. On my ipad what happens if she wants to send me an imessage from the ipad to my iphone 4s? When we tried texting from my ipad to my iphone it came up twice and then didn’t deliver. It sent the message from my number then my apple ID number.

For her to send me messages from the ipad to my iphone would she have to sign out of my apple ID on my ipad and just sign in on her ID and will it then work?
