I just upgraded to the iPhone 6. I have my brother the old iPhone erases everything just realised the sim is still in the phone.

What info does he sim hold. Would it contain txt msgs etc? The sim has been deactivated though.

No problem. Since it has been deactivated there is nothing of value on the sim. It can't be used again.
